The IHAD/AmeriCorps
partnership is collaboration between IHAD and CNCS. CNCS provides
funding and program support that enables IHAD to recruit AmeriCorps
members to serve communities and youth. Members will help further
our ability to deliver services in literacy and/or transitions to
the youth in our program (Dreamers) and their families. Currently,
there are six active IHAD-Boulder County Classes serving over 375
Dreamers (1st-12th grade) in Boulder County (Boulder, Lafayette
and Longmont). Three of the after-school and summer programs are
located in low-income public housing sites and three are school-based
at local elementary schools. |
