From a pool of students receiving free or reduced lunch, forty-two new Dreamers were adopted from the Pioneer Bilingual Elementary School in Lafayette. All the students are in second grade, and will have the support of IHAD for over ten years to guide them through school and into college. The ceremony included speeched by Paul and Brenda Lilly and his family, Executive Director Lori Canova and Project Coordinator Ginny Holien, BVSD Superintendent Doctor Garcia, and Dreamers Heidi and Nicole. Dreamers then recited the Dreamer Pledge and received certificates.
